Volvemos de nuevo al parque natural de Tejera Negra, para seguir explorando este enclave tan singular. Esta vez, vamos a explorar el cauce del río Lillas, que nace a los pies del pico de la Buitrera (2046 mts.) Sabemos que debido a su difícil acceso, nos vamos a encontrar las hayas de mayor edad y mayor porte de esta reserva natural.
We visit once again the "Tejera Negra" nature reserve, to continue exploring this singular enclave. This time, we´re going to explore river Lillas, which emerges at the foot of Buitrera peak (2046 mts.). We know that due to its difficult access, we're going to find the most ancient and largest beech trees in the natural reserve.
Nos introducimos de lleno en un paisaje atlántico. Naturaleza intacta: muy pocos seres humanos han recorrido este espléndido hayedo. Prometemos volver alguna vez en otoño, cuando el bosque muestra su máxima belleza.
We enter an atlantic forest. Intact nature: few human beings have trodden this wonderful beech grove. We promise to go back in autumn, when the forest shows its maximum beauty.

El hayedo de Tejera Negra es un pedazo del húmedo norte de Europa en el seco y soleado sur del continente; de ahí su importancia y la necesidad de protegerlo.
The "Tejera Negra" beech forest is a piece of the wet northern Europe in the sunny and dry south of the continent; that´s why it´s so important and must be protected.
